How to Edit a Confirmed Booking Without Confusing Artists

Edit a Confirmed Booking or a Booking with an Offer (Avoid Surprises)

What happens when you edit

For bookings in Hold status where an artist/artists have already been sent offers, and for bookings in Advance status where there is a confirmed artist:

If you change any of these, the artist will receive an email stating the changes:
  • Venue

  • Start time

  • Payout amount

  • Set duration

  • Date

Best practice workflow

  1. Message the artist first and confirm they agree to the change.

  2. Edit the booking.

  3. If the booking is in Advance, an email will be sent to the artist detailing the changes.

  4. If the booking is in Hold, artist will receive an email alerting them to the change. Booking offer details will reflect the changes when they view the offer, and they can accept or decline.
