How to Create a New Booking in Hedlyner

Create a Booking (Step-by-Step)

Step 1 — Core Details

  1. From My Bookings, click New Booking (+).
  2. Enter Booking Title (e.g., “Jazz Night at Your Theatre,” or “The Shorelines @ Your Theatre”).
  3. Choose Venue:
  4. Select Venue (existing), or
  5. Add New Venue → name + address (Google/Maps suggested) → adjust if needed → Create Venue.
  6. Set Date, Start Time, and Set Duration (in minutes; supports granular sets like 45 min).
  7. Click Next.

Step 2 — Info & Payout
      8. (Optional) Add Booking Description (what you want, genre preferences, family-friendly, covers/no covers, etc.).
      9. Customize Booking Settings (optional): tweak from your Account default terms if needed.
      10. Choose
Payout Type:

                  Fixed (Guarantee) → enter amount,

                  Negotiable → artist proposes rate (set at $0 to start the conversation).

      11. Click Next.

Step 3 — Offers
      12. (Optional) Check Invite my contacts to apply.
      13. Select contacts or lists (single artist, several artists, or entire lists).
      14. (Optional) Auto-confirm: Available for single artist offers only.
      15. Click Create Booking.

Idea
Best practice:  If you are not ready to invite an artist, skip adding contacts. The date will be created as a Hold date, and artists can be sent offers later. This is a great way to mark the date on your calendar for planning, even if you are not ready to book an artist.

The booking appears in
My Bookings (table or calendar).
