Troubleshooting: Artist Didn’t Respond (Common Causes)

Quick fixes for the most common invite issues.

Common causes

  • The email address is incorrect.

  • The invite went to spam/promotions.

  • The artist hasn’t seen it yet.

  • The artist is unsure and needs details.

  • The emails are being blocked by Outlook/Office 365.

What to do

  1. Double-check the artist’s email in My Contacts.

  2. Send a Reminder from the invitation.

  3. Message the artist with a quick note (“Let me know if you have questions”).

  4. Request that they add notifications@hedlyner.com to their approved contact list.

  5. In case of disinterest, invite additional artists or use a vetted List.
