Glossary of Common Hedlyner Terms

  1. My Contacts: Your address book for artists, venues, agents, managers, producers, and other industry contacts.
  1. Vibe Keywords (Tags): Searchable labels like genre, “family-friendly,” “explicit lyrics,” “solo/duo/full band,” etc.
  1. My Bookings: All shows/events you’ve created, in table or calendar view.
  1. Statuses (Bookings)
    1. Hold: Date is on the calendar; no artist confirmed yet.
    2. Book: Offer sent; artist invited and pending your confirmation (manual confirm flow).
    3. Advance: Artist confirmed; waiting for show date.
    4. Wrap Up: Show is played; reconcile notes, extra tips/payouts, and reviews (available ~5–7 business days).
    5. Completed: Everything finished and closed.
    6. Cancelled: Confirmed booking later cancelled (tracks patterns for venues/artists).
    1. Auto-confirm: First invited artist to accept is automatically confirmed and notified.
    1. Manual Confirmation:  Booker chooses to confirm the artist without sending an invitation or waiting for an invitation response.
    1. Booker Terms & Conditions: Your default expectations (promotion, liability, exclusivity, etc.).
    1. Venue Terms & Conditions: Venue-specific rules (load-in, volume, breaks, etc.).
    1. What’s Provided: Equipment/facilities available or not available at the venue (PA, mics, lighting, etc.).
